The Ottinger family took their second trip on a plane together to Charlotte, North Carolina so that we could attend Tommy and Tanya's wedding. (Kaylee's roommate/classmate during PA school) Since we both had never been to Charlotte, we chose to take a little extra time to get familiar with the area.
Amelia was loving her first hotel visit! At this stage, she was occupied for an hour ripping paper.
The weather in Charlotte was sunny, but windy and chilly for us. (Highs were in the 60s) It was a nice escape from the heat we were having in Arizona. (100 degrees in March!)
Above was our hotel pool. Right behind it is the basketball stadium for the Hornets. There were two games happening while we were there.
The pathways throughout downtown Charlotte were not very smooth, so Amelia got quite the ride!
The cherry blossoms were very pretty throughout the neighborhoods near Kaylee's friend's place.
Amelia hung at the wedding for as long as she could! Though her and I spent a good amount of time pacing the hallways outside, everyone enjoyed when she came in to dance.
The wedding was held in the Mint Museum which offered great views of downtown and a beautiful venue.
Before the wedding, we had met up with Emma (My friend from high school) She showed us around where all the young adult crowd hangs! (Near Atherton Mall)
