After driving all morning, it was nice to step out and walk around Long Beach. The downtown area near the port was actually very nice despite what we had heard about the place. I especially liked the marina. This is where we ate dinner and walked around. It is also where Kaylee and I learned we would be having a girl! (We decided to keep this a secret for now)
We ran across a proposal that was staged up on top of this hill!
Though our ship wasn't there yet, you can see how close they are to where we were at! When our cruise arrived back in port, I ended up scootering from the ships to the downtown area twice. (I may have forgotten the keys when going to pick up the car)
