Mexico - Rocky Point
Multiple Visits
Kaylee grew up going to Rocky Point her whole life. Since being together, we have made several trips to "Arizona's beach" to visit her parents who live down there. It is about a four hour drive from our home in Gilbert and has made for some great weekend getaways!
Passing through the border is always exciting! We pass through the Lukeville/Sonoyta port of entry which is not very busy unless it is a holiday weekend.
The drive down is open desert almost the whole way with the mountains receding near Rocky Point. You can see the resorts in the distance in the photo above.

Most of our time in Rocky Point is spent relaxing at the Sonoran Sun (Kaylee's parents Condo) Below are some photos around the resort.
Below is one of the most unique and fun restaurants I have been to. The decor speaks for itself and they also have a small zoo in the back. The local perros roam freely throughout all of Mexican cities.
