On our way south towards San Marino, we decided to take a pit stop in Venice for the morning! It was only fitting after staying at the Venetian/Palazzo in Vegas for our first time meeting,

It did not take long to get to the canals. Though we parked before the bridge to Venice, the local bus dropped us off right next to the canals.

There were several cathedrals in the city.

Below is the Grand Canal! Turns out there is only one bridge to get over this and it is the one pictured at the top. Google maps failed us on this one too.

We went through some very tight walkways as we roamed around the city.

We came across an engagement shoot while crossing this canal.

It was quite busy in town for it being a Tuesday in the "shoulder season."

I felt we spent a perfect amount of time in Venice. Though the city has a charm to it, the crowds/pigeons were crazy and we were able to see what we wanted to in the few hours that we were there.
