Lake Arrowhead

Our first stop on the California trip was at Lake Arrowhead. Our initial plan was to spend the night camping in a nearby "yellow post site," but given the length of the drive to Sequoia from here, we decided to keep driving.
Similar to other alpine lakes, Lake Arrowhead had very clear water and a lot of friendly fish!
The town consisted of a lot of fun shops and restaurants. All of them had amazing views of the lake.
The drive up and down from Lake Arrowhead consisted of many tight turns and beautiful views. Unfortunately the air quality was terrible and at times appeared as if we were driving through the clouds. I did my best to not make both of us motion sick.
