 Seattle, Washington

July 7 - 9

Steps: 34,086 (2 days)

Our last stop on the 10 day road trip through the Pacific Northwest was Seattle. Behind the skyline and to the right is Mt Rainier. It seemed to tower over the city when it came out from the clouds.

The Space Needle was located about a half mile from our hotel!

The museum next to the Space Needle was the Museum of Pop Culture. Outside of it was a pretty park and playground for kids.

The first ever Starbucks!

Above was the most admired view in the whole city. We pondered at that glass entrance for about 45 minutes waiting to get in the store.

Success! We made it out with cold drinks and souvenirs. It was very refreshing after the Seattle heat took us by surprise.

Pike Place Market was located near the water. It has a surprising 10 levels within its 9 acre market.

Pictured above is gum wall. This was located right next to Pike Place Market. Kaylee contributed to this very unique landmark.

Above is the stage at our very first cabaret. Here they performed a play called Lola based off the Copacabana song. Not even Barry Manilow would have been ready for this performance!

On our last full day in Seattle, we went to the top of the Space Needle! Above is the view of the skyline and you can slightly see Mt. Rainier in the distance!

The rotating glass floor made our hands a little sweaty.

Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum was right next to the Space Needle. The glass sculptures inside were very impressive. We also got to see someone blow glass!

Above is the biggest pot of mac and cheese you will see! Beecher's Handmade Cheese is home to Oprah's favorite mac and cheese, and you can bet we tried it! It was very good!

The famous pig at Pike Place Market!

Our final sunset in Seattle! The view from Kerry Park was an amazing place to see it.
