Located at the end of the Lustrafjorden, this small town offered an amazing cruise in and out of the over 130 mile long fjord. The picture above was taken when Kaylee and I woke up at 4:15 AM to watch us navigate through the winding fjords.

Above is an example of just how narrow the fjords we navigated got!

The port was positioned right next to a farm with sheep! It was definitely unique waking up to sheep basically right outside our window.

Only one cruise can dock at this port for obvious reasons. It was amazing how the fjords dwarfed the boat.

The hike we took led us through a forrest to a beautiful overlook of the lake and surrounding area. We were amazed at how much vegetation there was here!

The boys! (Tyler, Conner, Trent) This was at the top of our first hike! The still water perfectly reflected the landscape behind us.

This house had quite the view. The green roofing system was common throughout Norway. The vegetation on the roof provides both climate control and a beautiful design feature to this modern home.

This is another example of just how reflective the water is! If you look closely on the left bank, you can see a house. This belonged to the famous philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein.

This troll hand was located near the waterfall and cabin resort about 1.5 miles from the port.

We had to go out the same way we came in, which offered even more stunning views of waterfalls and fjords. We had to stop taking pictures of all the waterfalls because there were just too many! There was almost never a time during our journey through the fjord that you couldn't see one.

The weather in the evening took a drastic change. You can see in the picture above why you have to enjoy the views when you can, cause they can quickly get lost!
